Derby City Gaming Expansion | HRM Facility & Outdoor Smoking Patio

Derby City Gaming, a ground-up HRM Facility, opened its doors in 2018. The 75,000 sf project consisted of 650 historical racing machines, two quick-service, walk-up food venues, a bar with seating for 50 as well as big screen televisions and a player’s club reward center that will offer special perks and benefits, including an exclusive parking area.
In 2020, Derby City Gaming expanded to include a brand new 8,000 square foot patio that had an addition of 225 historical racing machines (“HRMs”) with some of the best game titles available. Derby City Gaming has an existing outdoor gaming patio on the north side of the facility with over 100 HRMs. With the addition of the new patio, Derby City Gaming has 1,225 HRMs total.
“The existing patio at Derby City Gaming has been an extremely popular location for our guests,” said Austin Miller, Senior Vice President, Gaming Operations for CDI. “This additional patio will provide our guests with more machines, more space, and an abundance of fresh air to enjoy while playing at Derby City Gaming. This new amenity is unlike any other in the market and I am excited for our guests to experience it.”
