The Oxford Casino is a hotel and casino in Oxford, Maine, owned and operated by Churchill Downs Inc. They brought us on board to help them design a $25M ground-up expansion to their existing Casino in Oxford, Maine. We provided master planning services that included the following:
- The project called for a ground-up expansion and the renovation of the existing facility. The program requirements included: 125 Guestroom Hotel, casino floor, new food and beverage outlets, expanded kitchen and warehousing as well as new emergency backup power.
- The design solution for both site improvements, new building, and of the existing building required that R2A create a phasing plan that kept the facility open at all times.
- We master planned new sanitary infrastructure and upgraded exsiting utilties.
This project opened successfully in 2016.
