Description
Cape Regional Health System recently completed a major expansion of their Emergency Department and Radiology Department.
The Radiology Department was relocated and expanded into 15,000 square feet of space with advanced radiology equipment and technology with a state-of-the-art Radiology Department. Cape Regional provides 24/7 access to diagnostic imaging, CT scans and ultrasound services. Highlights include new state-of-the-art:
- New Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology Suite
- New Reception Area
- MRI Suite Upgrades
- Two (2) Ultrasound Rooms

- X-ray Suite with Two (2) X-Ray Rooms

A dedicated entrance and waiting area have been incorporated into the master plan for patient and family ease of access and convenience.
The new +/- 19,000 SF Emergency Department expansion includes:
- 9 additional patient bays with state-of-the-art technology providing improved privacy and efficiency that will enhance the emergency experience.
- New Triage & Updated Check-In Area
- Negative Pressure Suite with Five (5) Bays & Four (4) Private Rooms
- Upgrades to existing ED
