Description
R2A worked with Churchill Downs, Inc. (CDI) to re-design and expand their 95,000 sf second-floor Clubhouse, located at Churchill Downs Racetrack in Louisville, Kentucky. R2A was asked to program, master plan, design, bid, award, permit, and construct in under 6 months. The project opened on time and on budget for the 143rd Kentucky Derby.
- The Aristides Lounge – 300 guests and a bar.
- The Loft at Aristides Lounge – 300 guests and a bar.
- Champions Bar and Gold Room – 240 VIP guests and a bar.
- The Champions Bar and Gold Room Balcony – 130 guests and a bar.
- Concession Area – 9 themed stations and 25 points of sale.
