Description
Foxwoods Resort Casino property features deluxe accommodations in three hotel towers, fine dining, a wide variety of entertainment attractions and shopping. R2A & R2I prepared the design concept for the complete renovations to the guestrooms, suites and public areas at the Great Cedar Hotel. The inspiration for the updated contemporary design aesthetic came from the colors, textures, and patterns of the property’s natural setting that include rolling hills, exposed stone formations, and the grand forests that meet up with nearby sandy ocean shoreline.
The nature inspired design featured light and bright warm neutral toned colors along with organic patterns and textures found in the textiles and flooring materials. The design included custom fee featuring a built in bed that is integrated to the custom wall panel millwork. Rich wood grains on custom FFE and wall surfaces in tandem with cream toned stone surfaces and accent tiles complete the updated contemporary design.
