Description
The Garden State Discovery Museum is one of New Jersey’s most popular cultural attractions and South Jersey’s largest children’s museum.
R2A & R2Iworked with Garden State Discovery Museum to develop a design for a ground-up facility that will be about 150,000 SF in size encompassing Three (3) levels to accommodate all of the exciting programs and exhibits. A significant feature for the children is the amazing 3-story interactive climbing exhibit.
The mission of the Garden State Discovery Museum on the Waterfront is to bring exceptional experiences to families, where playing and learning come together to inspire creativity, ingenuity and imagination. This multi-faceted and unique facility will support local communities, bridging populations and cultures.
This exhibit is in a space that provides breathtaking views of the waterfront and the Philadelphia skyline. The program also includes Learning Exhibits, Instructional Space, Theatre, Retail, Food and Beverage Dining Experiences, and Administrative Offices.
