The Meadowlands Racetrack is a 138,000 SF, $80M, entertainment facility located at the Meadowlands Sports Complex adjacent MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The project included:
- 2,000 seat outdoor grandstand
- Indoor simulcast facilities
- Sportsbooks & sports betting lounges
- Multiple food and beverage outlets
- State-of-the-art sports bar/nightclub
- Multi-purpose room
- VIP Rooms
- Owners Club
- Other public amenities along with sophisticated AV systems, security/surveillance and television broadcast facilities.
The project was undertaken on a fast-track construction process to enable the initial construction of the facility to proceed during the design development stage. The firm was instrumental in scheduling and navigating the project through the NJ DCA plan review process to ensure that documentation was completed and plan release obtained to maintain the aggressive 14 month construction schedule. This project was completed in collaboration with CGL Architects.
