National Velodrome & Events Center

R2A was retained by Velodrome Management Group, LLC (VMG) to provide Design Services for the $15M indoor cycling event center called the National Velodrome and Events Center located in Coatesville, PA.
The 121,000 sf facility is State-of-the-Art that compliments the ‘fast, colorful, and exciting’ indoor cycling sport that is surging in popularity within the United States.
The center was designed with an emphasis on being ‘green’ and the project included a clear span structure affording versatility for multiple uses and fitted with an audio visual feature to simulcast real-time action for the fans on large format screens, and a dynamic sound systems that synchronizes with the LED lighting systems that compliment the cycling action to make the guests’ experience a one of a kind. Dining outlets, retail, and training facilities were included in the plans as well.
