John P. Ruiz | Principal
John P. Ruiz is a Principal and Managing Member of R2Architects LLC, an award-winning, published, creative and energetic architectural, interior design, and master planning firm.
John has over Thirty (30) years of Architectural, Interior Design, and Planning experience in jurisdictions around the Unted Sates of America. As the Design Principal at R2Architects, he has been fortunate and grateful to have developed his professional career, related experiences, and new friendships working side by side with some of the most accomplished and brilliant clients in the corporate, institutional, and public sectors as well as with talented, highly trained, creative fellow designers, engineers, artists, constructors, and technicians.
John understands that as humans we are hard-wired to seek positive experiences that make people feel great and live better. His understanding and interest on how design positively affects people is the cornerstone of his ability to design inspiring spaces. These positive feelings and experiences make people want to be more involved and productive in our work, play, entertainment, dining, rest, and rejuvenation modes. These positive experiences equate to successful design accomplishing the clients’ project goals.
His day-to-day client responsibilities includes the seamless delivery of the firm’s design services to accomplish the client’s expectations and goals for each project. Mr. Ruiz is passionate about innovative design and outstanding customer service. He brings a high level of energy, enthusiasm, integrity, and experience to every project. The sum of these attributes helps him lead, manage, and rally the project team to work at a consistently high level making the client proud of the work service rendered to his or her enterprise.
A significant aspect of John’s professional success is his personal commitment to help others every day. This commitment to help others is integrated with his professional responsibility to assist and service clients. John volunteers time to serve on various Non-Profit Board of Directors, Capital Committee, Design Review Committee, and others. So, it was also natural for John to have made a promise long ago to charity – to help others. It is based on his belief that life is precious and amazing, yet many are less fortunate in how life has treated them with poor health. John believes everyone deserves more amazing moments and helping less fortunate people achieve better health for themselves is priceless because good health is essential to live the best life a person can live. He is committed to give and help those less fortunate; to help them benefit from care, support, and kindness.
